In a surprising partnership that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
