I'll overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
